Bar-Ilan to give Hillary Clinton doctorate

US Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-NY) is to receive an honorary doctorate from Bar-Ilan University in a New York ceremony Sunday night. She is being recognized for "her political leadership, her commitment to peace and security for the Jewish homeland, and for advocating the deep and lasting bond between the United States and Israel," according to the university. Mortimer Zuckerman, chairman and editor-in-chief of US News and World Report, and Harvey Krueger, vice chairman of the Lehman Brothers investment house, will also be among those receiving honorary doctorates at a ceremony conducted by the American Friends of Bar-Ilan University.
