Incoming finance minister Roni Bar-On will meet Thursday with senior officials in the finance ministry to discuss the 2008 budget, ahead of government deliberations on the matter slated to commence next week, Israel Radio reported.
Bar-On will first meet with Finance Ministry Director-General Yoram Ariav. Ariav will present his new boss with the finance ministry's work plan for the upcoming year, as well as with the budget-cut plan for government ministries.
