Barak: Amir will stay in prison to the end of his days

Defense Minister Ehud Barak vowed Saturday evening that Yigal Amir's punishment will not be sweetened. "He will stay in prison to the end of his days," the defense minister said.
Yigal Amir was convicted for killing former Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin.
Barak was speaking at a rally in Tel Aviv commemorating the 12th anniversary of Rabin's murder.
Other speakers at the rally included President Shimon Peres, and Ron Huldai and Uri Lupoliansky, mayors of Tel Aviv and Jerusalem, respectively.
