Following consultations with the Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency), Israeli Police, and Home Front Command, Defense Minister Ehud Barak on Wednesdasy ordered security forces to begin the process of demolishing the home of Ala Abu Dhaim, the terrorist who in March gunned down eight students in the Mercaz HaRav religious seminary in Jerusalem.
The family will be allowed to appeal the decision to OC Home Front Command Maj.-Gen. Yair Golan over the next seven days. If the appeal is rejected, the family will be allowed one more week to reside in the home, during which time they can appeal to the High Court.
