Defense Minister Ehud Barak criticized Prime Minister Ehud Olmert Sunday saying: "It is permissible to argue with the state comptroller's report or with the nature of a Supreme Court ruling but not to hurl accusations at institutions or individuals."
The defense minister added that "mutual respect between the implementing authority, the legislative authority and the state comptroller is one of the most basic elements of a democracy."
