Barak: We must defend the Supreme Court

"We must consistently defend the institutions of the rule of law, and most of all the Supreme Court," Defense Minister Ehud Barak said on Sunday. "There is a thin line between public debate and openness to change and agreeing to an imbalanced attack on this important institution; and, I am afraid, this line has been crossed," he told the Labor Faction, referring to the ongoing struggle between Justice Minister Daniel Friedmann and the Supreme Court.
