Barak: We will continue to back Palestinian economic projects in W. Bank

"Israel will continue its support of the promotion of economic projects in Judea and Samaria," Defense Minister Ehud Barak said Monday.
The defense minister was speaking after a discussion with Palestinian Authority Prime Minister Salaam Fayad and US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, which focused on promoting economic projects in the Palestinian Authority.
The three also discusses law enforcement by Palestinian security forces in the West Bank and Barak stressed that the IDF bore ultimate responsibility for security in the region.
Before the trilateral meeting, Barak held a private talks Rice, during which the two discussed regional, political and security issues.
