Beilin: Israel must act responsibly and weigh Hamas ceasefire offers

Hamas has appealed to Israel at least twice in the last two weeks requesting a mutual ceasefire, Meretz Chairman Yossi Beilin said Friday. Beilin told Israel Radio that Israel should act responsibly and consider the ceasefire requests, which he claimed were made via an international mediator. "Only an agreement can bring an end to the Kassam fire. There is no other solution," he said.
