The Ben Gurion International Airport has declared a state of emergency following a message received by staff that a charter plane flying over the area was unable to open its wheels ahead of landing.
The plane, which is carrying two passengers, has begun carrying out an emergency landing.
Rescue forces, including the fire department, have arrived at the location.
