Betselem petitions Mazuz on police action in Amona

The Israeli human rights organization Betselem petitioned Attorney General Menachem Mazuz Thursday afternoon regarding what Mazuz termed the "excessive" use of force by police and security forces in evacuating the illegal outpost of Amona on Wednesday.
The group requested that Mazuz investigate their suspicion that security forces struck demonstrators who did not physically resist, Army Radio reported.
