Bill proposed against religious coercion of minors

MK Haim Oron (Meretz) was set to propose a bill against those who pressured minors to adopt an orthodox or secular lifestyle. According to the proposal, such actions would be punishable by imprisonment. MKs Moshe Gafni (UTJ) and Amnon Cohen (Shas) blasted the bill, saying there was no room for it among Israel's laws, Israel Radio reported.
