A bill to unite all emergency telephone numbers was accepted by the cabinet's ministerial law committee on Sunday.
According to the bill, presented by MK Yoram Marciano (Labor), the public would be able to call the Police, fire department, Magen David Adom paramedics, and any other service deemed relevant by Communications Minister Ariel Attias (Shas), all by dialing the same telephone number.
