Robbers broke into the house of Netanya Police Deputy-Commander Alon Asor in Binyamina on Sunday and stole his jeep which contained a two-way radio and other police equipment.
The incident was immediately reported to the IDF and soldiers at checkpoints were instructed to heighten their state of alert, Israel Radio reported.
