24-yr-old allegedly killed by Arab husband who planned to take son to PA.

The dead body of 24-year-old Valentina Domvayev from Lod was found opposite a gas station near Ashdod on Wednesday morning.
Police suspected that Domvayev was strangled by her Arab husband, Iyad Sha`ami, who kidnapped her
on Friday.
On Friday, Kiryat Gat Police received a report that Sha`ami had kidnapped his wife and her friend, who managed to escape from the trunk of Sha`ami's moving vehicle.
Since Saturday, police had been searching the Ashdod area for Domvayev.
Domvayev's husband admitted to having kidnapped her, but initially claimed that he had'nt harmed her and that she had succeeded in escaping from the vehicle in which he was holding her.
From the initial investigation it emerged that a fight had erupted between the two over the custody of their four-year-old son. Police lay and wait for Sha`ami near the family's residence in Lod and arrested him when he came for the child.
Police estimated that Sha`ami was planning on taking his son to the Palestinian Territories.
