Boim: PM approved of decision to publish tenders for new J'lem apartments

The decision to approve the tenders for new apartment units to be built in Jerusalem's Har Homa and Pisgat Ze'ev neighborhoods with the full knowledge and support of Prime Minister Ehud Olmert, Construction and Housing Minister Ze'ev Boim said on Monday. "The new apartments will be built within the municipal borders of Jerusalem," Boim told Israel Radio, adding that "Jerusalem must remain the undividable capital of Israel, but we must find an appropriate solution to the large and vibrant Arab population which is living in the city.
