Border Police thwart knife attack at Cave of Patriarchs

A 19-year-old Palestinian arrested by border policemen on Monday confessed to planning to carry out a knife attack at the Cave of the Patriarchs in Hebron, police said.
The suspect, from the village of Dura, aroused the suspicions of border policemen guarding the site. He was arrested, searched and found to be carrying a knife.
During his subsequent interrogation, the suspect confessed to his intentions to carry out a knife attack.
He was transferred to the Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency) for further questioning.
