Border policeman wounded in Jerusalem stoning

An Israeli border police officer was lightly wounded on Wednesday after being stoned by a Palestinian near a section of the security barrier being erected on the outskirts of Jerusalem. The officer, who was struck in the head, was evacuated to Hadasssa Ein Kerem University Hospital for treatment, police reported. Police officers fired tear gas and stun grenades to disperse the rioters in the late afternoon incident that occurred near Shuafat refugee camp north of Jerusalem.
