Carter calls Kassam rocket fire 'criminal' during tour of Sderot

Former US president Jimmy Carter toured Sderot on Monday and said the firing of Kassam rockets from the Gaza Strip at the western Negev is "criminal." "I'm obviously distressed to see this happen. I think it's a despicable crime for any deliberate effort to be made to kill innocent civilians, and my hope is that there'll be a ceasefire soon," said Carter. Carter made the comment after he was shown the remains of hundreds of rockets that were fired at the town.
