Chief: IDF to stay out of Bethlehem during X-mas

Bethlehem's police chief said early Saturday that the IDF has agreed not to conduct any operations inside the city until the middle of next week, so as not to disrupt the Christmas celebrations inside the city. According to the police chief, the Al-Aksa Martyr's Brigade has also promised to refrain from activity inside the city during the holiday. Over 800 security and police officers are set to patrol and secure the city during the holiday, Israel Radio reported.
