Chief of police says PM's investigators unbiased, working in good faith

"I have confidence that [Prime Minister Ehud] Olmert's investigators are acting in good faith," Chief of Police Dudi Levy said Tuesday, in a veiled criticism of Olmert's office which has in the past week accused the police of leaking information related to the probe against him. "The police's work is endless. Officers work according to the law, maintaining professionalism and avoiding being biased […] recently we have seen attempt to accuse, criticize or weaken police officers," Levy said during a ceremony commemorating police officers who have died during operations.
