Ya'acov Chodorov, due to a mild stroke, could not accept in person the Israel Prize with which he was awarded, and required someone else to accept it in his place.
78-year-old Chodorov was admitted to Assaf Harofeh's emergency room on Sunday, after he felt ill on Sunday. Following examination, it was suspected that he suffered a stroke.
His condition was not deemed life-threatening and was declared stable.
