Coalition head Yitzhaki welcomes Ramon ruling

Kadima coalition chairman Avigdor Yitzhaki expressed his support Thursday morning of the court's ruling that Ramon's conviction does not carry with it moral turpitude. In an interview with Israel Radio, Yitzhaki said that he was "very happy that the court settled the matter in the best possible way." He also added that although he hopes Finance Minister Avraham Hirchson is not suspended in wake of allegations of embezzlement against him, Prime Minister Ehud Olmert would have to seriously consider Ramon for the position.
