Court: Driver who killed 6 a danger to the public

The Tel Aviv District Court ordered police on Tuesday to arrest Yaron Bracha, the driver who was charged on six counts of manslaughter for an accident he caused at Ginaton Junction three weeks ago. The judge ruled that despite Bracha's health (he underwent surgery for injuries sustained in the accident), he presented a danger to the public and could not be released to house arrest, as per his attorney's request. "The defendant consumed alcohol and drugs before he took the wheel…this wasn't negligence, but an premeditated act," the ruling read.
