A pro-Palestinian organization says the Supreme Court has ordered the release of two of its activists who were arrested in a West Bank raid.The International Solidarity Movement (ISM) on Monday said the two women — one from Australia, the other from Spain — are to be released on bail. The two have been prohibited from entering the West Bank until their legal status is clarified.Israeli troops raided their Ramallah apartment on Sunday on suspicionthat the two women overstayed their visas and were involved in violentprotests. Their lawyer says the pair was targeted for their activitieson behalf of the ISM.The activists routinely show up at friction points between Israelitroops and Palestinian demonstrators, often trying to block soldiersfrom dispersing protesters.
