Crime boss Perinian attacked in Tel Aviv court

Two prisoners attacked crime boss Sharon Perinian, who was being held for attempted murder and whose alleged connections to Asst.-Cmdr. Yoram Levy have been a primary focus of the Zeiler commission, in the Tel Aviv Magistrates' Court on Monday, it was reported Monday night. The two Jaffa residents, aged 19 and 20, were being held for theft and violence and were in the same cell as Perinian at the court. After spying the gold bracelet on Perinian's arm, they dragged him into a bathroom stall, took the bracelet, and began to hit him. Perinian called for police, who removed the two to a different cell and returned the bracelet to Perinian. The attackers were transferred to Yarkon Police, who opened an investigation and were expected to consider a remand extension for the two on Tuesday.
