The mother accused of abusing two of her young children admitted to partial involvement in the abuse, said prosecution lawyer Devorah Ataya Wednesday morning. The admission took place during a hearing before judge Zvi Segel, at the Jerusalem District Court.
Nevertheless the defense attorney emphasized that a fierce struggle is expected during the trial: "it will not be a trail of confessions," she said.
Ataya requested time to familiarize herself with evidence before the mother is indicted.
Justice Segel ruled that the next hearing will be on May 22.
