Diamond dealer suspected of defrauding other dealers of huge sums

A diamond dealer from Ramat Gan was arrested on Wednesday on suspicion of defrauding other diamond dealers in the stock exchange of hundreds of thousands of dollars.
Supposedly taking diamonds for tests in Italy, the man allegedly pocketed the jewels, then claiming they were lost. He was also suspected of falsely presenting himself as an agent of prestigious jewelry companies in his dealings.
