Dimona Mayor Meir Cohen announced on Tuesday evening that he supported Labor Chairman Peretz for prime minister.
"I announce my absolute and complete support for Amir Peretz and his socio-economic doctrine and world-view," he said, and added, "I will work to carry out this doctrine from now on. As a mayor in the south, I see in Peretz's agenda hope for hundreds of thousands of Israelis."
