Poultry certified as glatt kosher is no longer available in Israel's butcher shops following the outbreak of a disease among certain flocks, Army Radio reported.
The haredi weekly Yom Le'Yom reported that if the disease is not countered, regular kashrut certification of poultry may also be revoked.
The Agriculture Ministry said early Thursday that the disease in question posed no danger to humans.
