A 32-year-old Arab truck driver was shot and seriously wounded Monday by a masked assailant in the Israeli town of Abu Ghosh, police said.
The attacker fled the scene, but a 25-year-old suspect was apprehended later in the day.
The motive for the rare early-afternoon shooting was a business dispute, the police said.
The victim, a resident of east Jerusalem, was rushed to Hadassah-University Hospital at Ein Kerem.
The Arab suspect arrested by police denies the
allegations against him.
