Druse suspected of hurling fire bomb at IDF patrol

Three Druse minors from the northern Golan village of Majdal Shams were arrested on suspicion of throwing a Molotov cocktail at an IDF patrol in the region, details released for publication on Monday revealed.
The youths, all aged 17, tied themselves to the incident. Police said the motive was of a nationalistic nature.
The majority of Golan Heights Druse see themselves as Syrians. Many have participated over the years in rallies marking Syrian Independence Day, as well as the annual demonstration to commemorate the anniversary of their strike against receiving Israeli identity cards.
