Egypt's Foreign Minister Ahmed Aboul Gheit announced on Friday that Egypt was attempting to organize a meeting with Interim Prime Minister Ehud Olmert and Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas.
Gheit called on the PA to adopt the Arab-initiated peace process which was approved at the Beirut summit in 2002 and to honor previous agreements signed with Israel.
