Eiland to submit Shalit kidnapping report to gov't

Maj.-Gen. (res.) Giora Eiland will submit on Monday morning the conclusions of his official investigation into the circumstances that allowed the kidnapping of IDF soldier Cpl. Gilad Shalit nearly two weeks ago. Eiland, the former head of the National Security Council, examined the intelligence information that reportedly indicated that such a kidnapping attack would take place. The Shin Bet's (Israel Security Agency) warnings were included in the scope of the investigation, Israel Radio reported, along with IDF preparations in light of the warning.
