Eini says breakthrough reached in government-teachers talks

A breakthrough has been reached between the government and the Secondary School Teachers' Organization, Histadrut Labor Federation Chairman Ofer Eini said Tuesday evening. According to Israel Radio, Eini said a few more hours were needed to work on the new development. The National Labor Court was expected later Tuesday to discuss the government's request that it order striking teachers back to work. There was no word as to how the reported new developments might affect the court's deliberations.
