Eitan: Good chances for abducted soldiers' release
By JPOST.COM STAFF
Pensioners Affairs Minister Rafi Eitan said on Tuesday that to the best of his knowledge, the three kidnapped soldiers were still alive, and the chances of retrieving them in the near future were very high.
He added that the soldiers were being used as pawns by the terror organizations, and that is what will help to gain their releases.
Eitan was speaking at a meeting with the parents of Shalit, Regev, and Goldwasser, and party heads at the Knesset.
Malka Goldwasser expressed her disappointment that the heads of the Arab parties were not at the meeting.
