El Al passengers fly home after ground accident

El Al passengers who were forced to wait several hours in Paris Friday are currently on their way back to Israel and are scheduled to land at the Ben Gurion Airport at 5 a.m. on Saturday, Army Radio reported. On Friday afternoon, an airplane-towing vehicle crashed into one of the plane's engines on the runway prior to takeoff. The passengers are being flown in by an Arkia airplane sent especially from Israel for the Shabbat flight.
