The body of an 88-year-old man was found Monday in his home in Tel Aviv after he had been stabbed in the chest.
At about 4:45 p.m. the wife of the deceased entered the house and found her husband as he lay on the floor with a knife by his side. The woman alerted the police and also called neighbors for assistance.
An MDA team that arrived at the scene pronounced the elderly man dead.
Police said that they suspected murder but could not rule out the possibility of suicide.
