Central Elections Committee Chairwoman Dorit Beinish censored segments of a Shinui Party election campaign ad after giving the party a day to change them.
The ad ran in its original content on Tuesday evening, but at the same time, Beinish asked the party to change the segments before Wednesday's television election commercials.
On Wednesday, she disqualified the segments because "they caused injury to an extreme and disproportional degree to the haredi community and because they caused unwarranted injury to public feelings in general."
