Ezer Mizion launches campaign to find bone marrow donors
By JPOST.COM STAFF
The Ezer Mizion organization launched a campaign across Israel on Wednesday urging people to undergo screening to see if they are possible bone marrow donors who could save the life of 13-year-old Omri Atiya, who has been diagnosed with leukemia.
The organization called on people to come to test centers located throughout the country in order to donate blood samples, or - alternatively - to donate money needed to fund the costly tests to determine transplant donor suitability.
Test centers would be open until 8 p.m., the organization said.
