Ezra: Border security will be tightened

Internal Security Minister Gideon Ezra (Likud) called for an increase in the level of inspections in the crossings between the West Bank and Israel on Monday. The call came in the wake of the Netanya suicide bombing that killed five and wounded 66 Monday morning. Ezra said that the security fence was doing its job, but that the terrorists were still finding ways to enter Israel to perpetrate terror attacks. "We've learned that the Palestinian Authority does not do anything against terrorists," he stressed, "so we need to take action. We will tighten security at the border crossings, even if the [humanitarian] price will be high."
