Farmers from the north and the south decided on Sunday to launch a public struggle against the government.
Head of the Agricultural Committee of the Central Arava Valley, Haim Havlin, said that the Israeli government is not a partner in the Zionist vision.
"The fact that this government is creating obstacles such as budget cuts breeds the concern that peripheral settlements may eventually be fully destroyed," Havlin said.
