Father of baby who survived Jerusalem attack found after mother killed

The five-month-old great-granddaughter of a former Israeli chief rabbi has been reunited with her father after her mother threw her out of a car window to save her from a Palestinian attacker moments before being killed herself. East Jerusalem resident Husam Taysir Dwayat killed three people when he slammed a construction vehicle into buses, cars and pedestrians on Wednesday. He was shot dead by security officers. Seconds before she was killed by the rampaging vehicle, Batsheva Unterman saved her baby by throwing her to safety. The baby escaped unhurt. It took hours to locate the father, who did not know his wife and baby were involved, rescue services said Thursday.
