Fewer Sudanese refugees entering Israel in recent months, figures show

The flow of Sudanese refugees into Israel has dropped significantly in recent months, Army Radio reported Sunday. According to Interior Ministry figures, only 28 refugees infiltrated the country in the past few months, as opposed to 40 per month up to the middle of last year. However, the illegal immigration continues. On Sunday morning, 400 foreigners who had infiltrated Israel over the past week presented themselves at the UN offices at the Egyptian border.
