Firefighters Monday morning were trying to put out a large fire on Halutzei Hata'asiyah Road in Haifa. Industrial filters were burning in a factory that also contains hazardous substances. The Haifa Firefighters' Brigade reported that there was no danger that the fire would reach the substances.
Members of the Environment Ministry were also on site. The projected outcome was not yet clear.
