Flights delayed for more than 16 hrs. as disruptions continue at Ben Gurion

Disruptions continued at Ben Gurion Airport Monday morning and several flights were delayed for more than 16 hours. In addition, four other flights destined for Turkey were canceled. The Israel Airport Workers Union has said that disruptions were being caused due to a lack of manpower, as the number of passengers flying in and out of Israel rises in holiday season. However, the Israel Airports Authority claimed that the delays were purposely caused by the employees in an attempt to pressure the Airports Authority to add more workers ahead of the holiday season.
