FM Livni: No plans for negotiations with Syria

In an interview on Wolf Blitzer's "Late Edition" on Sunday afternoon, Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni emphasized that now was not the right time to start negotiations with Syria. Responding to a question about whether Livni would meet with her Syrian counterpart at the UN General Assembly meeting later in the month, the Foreign Minister said that first Syria has to stop supporting terror. "They are hosting Hamas officials and they are supporting Hizbullah," she said. "I think it's too early" for negotiations.
