Former Hadera Mayor Yisrael Sadan was sentenced Wednesday to eight months in prison and seven months on probation for offering bribes while in office.
In addition, he received a fine of NIS 60,000.
Another person involved in the affair was sentenced to five months in prison, while two others received probation, social service work and fines.
