Former MK Nomi Blumenthal appealed to the Tel Aviv District Court on Monday against her conviction on February 13, of giving an election bribe, obstructing justice and suborning witnesses.
Army Radio reported that Blumenthal also appealed against her punishment of eight months in jail, a 10 months suspended sentence and a NIS 75,000 fine.
The court also ruled in February that the crimes the former MK committed involved moral turpitude. That means that she is not allowed to serve in the Knesset for seven years.
