Four Betar Jerusalem fans suspected of assault

Four Betar Jerusalem soccer fans were arrested Monday for on suspicion of assaulting fans from a rival team, police said. The teenage suspects, including three minors, were apprehended in the wake of "intelligence information" for the early December attack on Kfar Saba fans outside Jerusalem's Teddy Stadium, which included stoning a bus with Kfar Saba supporters, Jerusalem police spokesman Shmuel Ben-Ruby said. The three minors were remanded in custody by a Jerusalem court Monday for three days, while the fourth suspect was placed under house arrest. Police said that more arrests in the case are expected.
