Four people stabbed in under a day

Two youths stabbed in Haifa area, one in Rishon Lezion and a fourth in J'lem.

Four people were stabbed throughout the country in less than a day beginning Friday night. A 19-year-old man was lightly wounded when he was stabbed early Saturday in Rishon Lezion. He was evacuated to Asaf Harofe Hospital in Kfar Sava. Two suspects, both 19, were detained by police, who said that the incident occurred when the victim refused to step aside when the suspected attackers asked him to move. A youth was stabbed in the stomach and chest early Saturday on Keren Hayesod Street in Kiryat Bialik near Haifa. The youth was evacuated to Rambam Hospital in the city. The incident marked the second youth stabbing in 12 hours in the Haifa area. An 18-year-old was also stabbed in his stomach around 2:30 a.m. Saturday morning in the area of the Bahai'i gardens in Haifa and was rushed to Rambam Hospital in moderate condition, Israel Radio reported. A 27-year-old man was stabbed and seriously wounded on Friday night in the Shuafat refugee camp near Jerusalem. He was rushed to Hadassah Ein Karem Hospital in Jerusalem. Police were investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
